Groz Spring Divider Set

The Groz Spring Calipers are versatile tools designed for comparative measurements. Manufactured from selected steel these feature a spring joint for precise settings. The legs pivot on a roller and are tensioned by a bow spring, which allows for accurate adjustments. The fulcrum stud of our calipers has a large bearing surface, which prevents side deflection of the legs, and the adjustment is made by opening and closing the legs using an adjusting nut. Inside calipers are used for gauging the inner diameter of an opening and then transferring that measurement to a ruler. Outside calipers are a useful measurement transfer tool when working with round stock or oddly shaped materials and then transferring that measurement to a ruler.
